We here at Myriad think it’s pretty cool for Forbes to call our client, Kyoto, Japan’s ‘capitol of cool’!
At first glance, Menbakaichidai is just a nondescript little eatery. But that eatery near the International Manga Museum is surely one of the trippiest experiences, culinary or otherwise, that you could ever have in Japan’s cultural capital of Kyoto. There are some tables for sure, but sitting at the long counter is where the action is as you watch the duo of the owner and his sous-chef son go through choreographed paces in their cramped kitchen of boiling noodles and filling bowls with all the ingredients to make ramen soup. So far, so good.
